I have to say I disagree with Joe on the Glock 19 for his Condo Defense pistol. If we are just talking about Home Defense why would you not go Glock 17? You get 2 more rounds and a longer site radius which is more likely to help a person be accurate in a stressful situation. Price is the same as the Glock 19, and since we aren't considering it as a carry pistol I see no reason to choose a 19 over a 17. If it is a dual role gun for carry and home defense then there is an argument for the 19 over the 17, but that being said I carry my 17 concealed on occasion and it is doable (though more difficult to conceal than an 19).
